You will need terracotta flowerpots, colored paints, paintbrushes.

First, paint the inside of the pot and allow this to dry. Paint the top rim.  When dry, paint the rest of the pot.  Use a different color.  Decorate with spots, stripes, flowers or stars.

As well as using the pots for plants they can be used for all sorts of things such as holding pens and ribbons.
